Debido exclusivamente al recorte de la proyección para el maíz, atribuible en gran medida a la mayor incidencia de enfermedades y al creciente estrés hídrico en algunas regiones del hemisferio sur, la previsión para la producción mundial de cereales totales (trigo y cereales secundarios) en 2023/24 se ha reducido en 3 m. de t. desde el mes pasado, para situarse en 2.301 m.
